Dear Online Shopper,Dear Bargain Lover,
I love your website and blog, but to tell you the truth, I found the skirts a bit pricey. I can go to the discount stores and do much better.
Yours Truly,
Bargain Lover
Thanks so much for taking the time to comment. I'm going to explain how you can get the benefits of online shopping and still find prices at least as good as what you'd find in a discount store or sale rack.
To begin, go to our web site and click on "skirts". Once there, click on the tab that says "under $50". You will now see an assortment of skirts for $50 or less.
The vendors frequently reduce the prices of items and we are not notified. The prices don't go up, though. So, if you see a skirt you love but it's too expensive, check it out. It might be on sale.
Now for the real deals. Back to the home page, and scroll down toward the bottom of the page, near the featured items. Click on the link, "Stores".
You'll see the assortment of retailers we've chosen that carry at least a few items that work with a modest wardrobe. We add a few every week, so check back often.
I'm going to Shop ModCloth . Once you're on the store's site, look for the link to sale items, clearance, overstocks, etc. It's not always "in your face", you have to do a little searching. On this site, I had to scroll down below all the flash and color to the very bottom of the page:
I clicked on the link, chose bottoms, sorted from lowest to highest price, and woo hoo! Look what I found:
Not what I'm looking for? Onto the next store! And I haven't even put my shoes on yet.
Now I'm going to Shop the CHADWICKS Sale and save up to 50% on over 200 items!
Their clearance section is right on top and easy to find. These are the same items that I've seen in places like Marshalls, T.J. Maxx and Loehmann's:
In the near future, we will, with G-d's help, have one link on our website that will take you to the sale section of all our vendors.
Here are the best online deals this week:
NOTE: When looking for skirts, watch out for those that come in "Tall" sizes. They fit the same as regular skirts, but they're usually a few inches longer.
